1. About these terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of the Brippa website (brippa.co.uk) and any purchases you make from us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Brippa is a UK-based small business specialising in personalised gifts, cake toppers, signs, and keepsakes.
2. Orders & pricing
- All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- An order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. You will receive an email confirmation.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, there is a pricing error, or we suspect fraudulent activity.
- Promotional codes and discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
3. Personalised products
Many of our products are made to order with your custom text, names, or dates. Please double-check all personalisation details before completing your order, as:
- We craft items exactly as specified. Spelling, capitalisation, and spacing will match what you enter.
- Personalised items cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind. Faulty or incorrect items are covered by law (see our Returns Policy).
4. Payment
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Some products may offer a “pay on collection” option where available.
5. Delivery
We offer the following delivery options for UK orders:
- Standard Delivery (Royal Mail 2nd Class) — £2.99, 3–5 working days. Free on orders over £25.
- Express Delivery (Royal Mail 1st Class) — £4.49, 3–5 working days.
- Next Day Delivery (Royal Mail Special Delivery) — £7.99, next working day.
- Collection — free, where available. Pick up from our workshop.
Express and next day delivery are always chargeable regardless of order value. The free delivery threshold applies to standard delivery only.
We aim to dispatch orders within 3–5 working days. Busy periods (e.g. Christmas, Valentine's Day) may take slightly longer.
Once dispatched, risk of loss or damage passes to the carrier. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us with photos as soon as you can. Your statutory rights apply - see our Returns Policy.
6. Returns, refunds & cancellations
Full details of returns, refunds, cancellations, and your statutory rights under UK law are in our Returns Policy. In summary:
- Personalised items: no change-of-mind returns (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28). Faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose items are covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Non-personalised items: 14-day cooling-off right to cancel for online orders; you pay return postage unless we agree otherwise.
- Faulty or incorrect items: contact us with photos. Remedies include refund, repair, or replacement depending on timing and the law - we cover return postage where we must under statute.
